MyEINPortal Privacy Policy

When you submit the reminder form, we collect the name, email address, mobile phone number, business legal name, entity type, registration number, and state of registration that you enter. We also record whether you affirmatively selected the optional service-reminder SMS checkbox, the date and time of that consent, and the version of the consent language shown to you.

We use this information to create or resume an EIN application, provide the continuation link you request, maintain a record of your submission, and help our staff support your request. We may also use matching email addresses or phone numbers to associate later submissions with an earlier submission.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service-reminder consent is collected through one optional, unchecked checkbox on the reminder form. We do not treat silence, a pre-selected checkbox, or a third party's consent as your permission. If you select the service-reminder checkbox, MyEINPortal may use your mobile number for automated informational messages about your EIN application, status, and related support. The reminder form collects consent for these service messages only.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We retain opt-in records to document your choice and honor it. You can reply STOP to cancel text messages or HELP for help.

You can choose not to receive text messages by not completing the SMS opt-in. If you have opted in, reply STOP to a text message to stop future text messages. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not by itself cancel an EIN application or prevent service-related communications delivered by other channels.

You may also ask us to update or delete information associated with a web-form submission by using our contact page. Do not include Social Security numbers, ITINs, or other sensitive taxpayer information in an opt-out request.

We use service providers only as needed to operate the site, send email or text messages, store records, process payments, and provide support. These providers may handle information solely to perform services for us and not for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

We use access controls and maintain audit records for application activity. Sensitive taxpayer identifiers are handled separately from the public reminder form and are not included in reminder links or ordinary email messages. We retain web-form submissions and consent records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, document consent and opt-out requests, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
